🔀Merge Sheet Data To Label Templates in Docs
Open a blank document in Google Docs
Open a new Google Doc and leave it blank. You'll use this document to create and print labels.

Open Label Maker
In Google Docs, click on the "Extensions" menu, then select "Label Maker". If you haven't installed Label Maker yet, click here to install it. After it's installed, reload the Google Doc by closing it and reopening it.

Select A Template
Within the Label Maker sidebar pop-up, click on "Select a template", then select the template that you need. You can use the search bar to search by template ID or name. There are over 3,000 templates from Avery® US Letter, Avery® A4, Avery® Zweckform, Sheetlabels.com, OnlineLabels.com and Herma. Click "Apply Template".

Select A Sheet to Merge Data
Click "Select a spreadsheet"


Make sure your Sheet is formatted correctly. Column headings/fields will automatically be imported for you to select.

After your Sheet is selected. Navigate to Label Maker in the Google Doc and select the Sheet and Merge fields that you want to add to the label template.

Merge fields will be added to the first cell. Style the text according to your needs and make sure that the text stays within the templated cell size.

When you're happy with the formatting. Click the "Create labels" button. Your labels will be created.

Once your labels are done processing. Click "Open Document" to see preview your labels for printing.

Preview your labels to make sure you're happy with the formatting.

Print your labels. Click File --> Print. Make sure to set Margin to "None" and scale to 100%.

Note: The page size may need to match your label product. For instance, Avery® US Letter 5160 labels require "Letter" size.
